Tin Chook is a private equity company formed by Australian economist Henry Ergas. Tin Chook invests in established small to medium enterprises seeking capital and management expertise in order to grow. Tin Chook invests in businesses that have a committed management team, proven track record, and significant growth potential, but may be prevented from realising their true growth potential because of an inability to access financial or management resources.
The company invests a maximum of $500,000 in the inaugural year, and usually exits after five years through a trade sale or secondary funding. The Tin Chook executive team has 20 years management, finance and consulting experience, and offers its advice and guidance to clients.
